Alpha Olefin Sulfonate Liquid (AOS) 38–40% is a high-foaming anionic surfactant also known as Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate. It is widely used as a cleansing and foaming ingredient in personal care, household cleaning and industrial cleaning formulations. Commercial liquid AOS grades commonly contain approximately 38–40% active surfactant matter.
AOS Liquid provides excellent cleansing, wetting, foaming and degreasing performance and can be combined with anionic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants in many formulations. It is commonly used in shampoos, body washes, handwash, liquid soaps, dishwashing liquids, laundry detergents, car wash products and multipurpose cleaners.
